ESPOSOS RODRÍGUEZ AZURDIA
El 23 de agosto de 1989 los esposos Silvia María Azurdia Utrera y Víctor Hugo Rodríguez Jaramillo fueron capturados ilegalmente por fuerzas represivas del Estado de Guatemala. Ambos eran dirigentes estudiantiles de la Universidad de San Carlos. Silvia era politóloga y psicóloga y Víctor estudiante de ciencia política. Sus cadáveres mutilados aparecieron el 21 de septiembre, con perforaciones de bala, sin manos y con señales de torturas.
