DOMINGO BATZ
El 4 de junio de 1980 en las cercanías de Xe Ixoq Vitz, municipio de Chajul, Quiché, miembros del Ejército Nacional ejecutaron a Domingo Batz, junto con el sacerdote José María Gran. Domingo originario de Ilom, Chajul era catequista, estaba casado y tenía tres hijos, lo conocían como “el sacristán de Chajul”. Cuando le dispararon cabalgaba sobre el lomo de una mula, con los útiles para la misa (CEH, caso 3212).
